Robert Visitacion – Arlington’s Premier Striking Coach
Robert Visitacion, a proud Filipino-American, began his journey in martial arts instruction at age 13 after facing bullying in junior high, guided by his loving grandmother. Inspired by Bruce Lee and trained under Grand Master Carroll Baker, Robert is equipped with skills in Kung Fu, Isshinryu Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Boxing.
He had his first kickboxing fight in 1980 and competed professionally from 1981 to 1989 against the world's best, retiring with an impressive record of 47 wins and 7 losses (36 KOs), holding state, regional, and U.S. titles, and ranked #2 in the world. Robert also trained in Thailand at one of the country’s most recognized gyms, further refining his Muay Thai skills.
Since founding V-FIT Martial Arts in 2012, he has successfully provided kickboxing training to over 3,000 students, coached a competitive fight team, and helped fighters earn more than 20 championship belts.
An 8th-degree Taekwondo black belt, a certified fitness trainer and USA Boxing trainer, and a 2× Kickboxing Hall of Fame inductee, Robert combines decades of experience with a welcoming environment for kids, beginners, and elite competitors alike, making V-FIT the top destination for Muay Thai classes, Kickboxing, and Boxing in Arlington.
Cruz Pena, brings over 20 years of Muay Thai experience to the striking program at V-FIT Martial Arts. His passion for the art of Muay Thai is evident in every class he teaches, where he focuses on developing strong fundamentals, discipline, and confidence in his students.
Whether students are training for fitness, self-defense, mastering techniques in Muay Thai, or preparing to compete on Fight Team, Coach Pena is dedicated to helping each individual reach their full potential. His instruction has produced not only skilled practitioners in the gym but also champions in the ring through the V-FIT Fight Team.
Known for his patience and positive teaching style, Coach Pena creates an environment where beginners feel welcome while experienced fighters continue to grow and sharpen their skills.
Outside of the gym, Coach Pena values his role as a devoted family man and man of faith, enjoying quality time with his wife, children, and their dog Rocky.
Jennifer Chanthavong, is a proud Laotian Muay Thai fighter and instructor at V-FIT Martial Arts. Known for her skill, dedication, and leadership, Jennifer plays a key role in delivering martial arts instruction across multiple programs at the gym.
She leads the All-Female Muay Thai class and the Kids Muay Thai program, while also assisting in coaching both Muay Thai and Kickboxing classes. Her positive energy, technical knowledge, and supportive coaching style help students build confidence, improve their striking skills, and grow both inside and outside the gym.
Jennifer has proudly represented her Laotian heritage throughout her fighting career and was honored with induction into the Lao-American Sports Hall of Fame in recognition of her accomplishments in the ring and her contributions to the sport.
Through her leadership and example, Jennifer continues to inspire the next generation of fighters and martial artists at V-FIT HOUSE of CHAMPIONS.
